Tavira is a charming town in Portugal’s Algarve region, celebrated for its historic architecture, Roman bridge, and picturesque riverside setting. It blends traditional Portuguese character with Moorish influences, seen in its tiled churches and castle ruins. With easy access to stunning beaches on nearby Tavira Island, it offers both cultural depth and seaside relaxation

Finally we are here at the the coast of Algarve. Everybody made it.

For the last stage of the tour we rode together the last 25 km.

This has been been an experience. I have learned a lot about what I can endure myself and how we can help each other on the way.

My bike is packed down and we’re just waiting to leave for the airport in a few hours.

Even though it has been a very good trip I am looking forward to get home to my own team, especially my wife who is the one pushing an encouraging me to do this.
