Abrantes is a hilltop city in central Portugal, overlooking the Tagus River, known for its historical castle and panoramic views. It combines medieval architecture with modern urban life and serves as a cultural and transportation hub in the region. The city’s gardens, traditional cuisine, and river landscapes make it a pleasant stop for travelers.

Yesterday was a really hot day, but the forecast said that this could be even hotter. Therefore left early this morning at 7 o’clock to get a few hours before it got too hot.

Ready to go early in the morning

It was a misty morning. It was actually a good temperature for a couple of hours.

On my arrival to the hotel in Abrantes I want 38°..,.,

Now a couple hours later it’s actually 42°. It was a good decision to leave early from the previous place..
